Liv-Marie graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with distinction where she was awarded the Miriam Jenkins Scholarship, the Moir Carnegie Prize, the Homi Kanga Memorial Prize and the Delius Society Prize.
As a soloist and chamber musician Liv-Marie has performed at major international music festivals, notably the Pablo Casals and Soesterberg International Festivals. She has performed as a soloist at the International Musicians Seminar at Prussia Cove on numerous occasions. She has also performed across the UK at prestigious venues such as the Wigmore Hall, St Martin-in-the-Field’s, Royal Albert Hall, Cadogan Hall, St Johns Smith Square, St Georges Bristol and the Queen Elizabeth Hall.
She has recorded for labels such as Naxos and Avie Records both as a chamber musician and with the Gramophone award-winning group La Serenissima.
Liv-Marie is the founder and artistic director of the Florentine Arts Ensemble, combining music and the visual arts. Recent performances have included The National Portrait Gallery, The Fitzwilliam Museum, The Broadway Arts Festival, The Barber Institute of Fine Arts and Dulwich Picture Gallery, alongside regular lecture recitals at The National Gallery on a wide range of themes.
Liv-Marie is much in demand as a festival adjudicator, and is a mentor for South West Music School. She was a violin teacher at Bath Spa University from 2011-2018.
Liv-Marie holds a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music teaching qualification and is fully DBS checked.
